Special credit support for agriculture and fisheries sector presented: Loans up to EUR 20,000, interest to be paid by Government during grace period

As of today, registered agricultural producers, processors and fishermen have at their disposal extremely favourable loans for the improvement of existing production and the launch of new production, which implements another measure from the Special Support Programme to Agriculture and Fisheries adopted by the Government to ease the COVID 19 pandemic.
A special lending programme will be implemented by the Investment and Development Fund and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Loans of up to EUR 20,000 will be approved, with an interest rate of 1.5 percent, with a repayment period of up to two years and a grace period of up to one year. The Government will pay interest during the grace period. About EUR 10 million is earmarked for the measure.
The credit support programme was presented today by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simović and President of the Board of Directors of the Investment and Development Fund Zoran Vukčević.
