Montenegro opens all road border crossings at midnight

The National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases decided today that from tomorrow, 1 June, Montenegro will open all road border crossings to neighbouring countries that were closed as part of measures against the spread of coronavirus.
At midnight, the hitherto closed border crossings open:
With the Republic of Albania:
- Grnčar – Baškim, Plav – Shkoder road route and
- Sukobin – Murićan, Ulcinj – Shkoder road route.
With Bosnia and Herzegovina:
- Šćepan Polje – Hum, Plužine – Foča road route,
- Šula – Vitina, Pljevlja – Foča road route,
- Sitnica – Zupci, Herceg Novi – Trebinje road route and
- Meteljka – Metaljka, Pljevlja – Čajniče road route.
With the Republic of Croatia: Kobila – Vitaljina, Herceg Novi – Vitaljina – Dubrovnik road route.
With the Republic of Serbia:
- Ranče – Jabuka, Pljevlja – Prijepolje road route,
- Vuče – Godovo, Rožaje – Tutin road route, and
- Čemerno, Pljevlja – Priboj road route.
At these road border crossings, the traffic of passengers and goods will take place in accordance with the valid measures of the National Coordination Body, i.e. with the measure adopted on Thursday, which stipulates that when entering Montenegro, the quarantine measure does not prescribe to citizens of Montenegro and foreigners with permanent or temporary residence in Montenegro, entering from countries with rate of confirmed active cases of coronavirus infection less than 25 cases per 100,000 inhabitants from the list of the Public Health Institute as well as foreign citizens who are residents of countries on the list and enter from countries on that list.
The road border crossing Vraćenovići – Deleuša with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nikšić – Bileća road route, which was closed on 27 February due to the construction of border infrastructure, remains temporarily closed.
