The construction of the kindergarten in the settlement Blok VI in Podgorica will begin in the coming days, and the deadline for completion of works is 12 months from the day of commissioning, specified in the Construction Contract signed by Director of the Public Works Administration Rešad Nuhodžić with a consortium led by Danilovgrad-based company "Eurozoks".
This is an investment within the arrangement of the Government of Montenegro with the Council of Europe Development Bank, worth EUR two million, in order to expand capacity and improve the living conditions of children and employees in preschool institutions.
The new facility will have an area of nearly 1,600 square meters, and is planned to accommodate 215 children. It will contain study rooms, multipurpose space, triage, space for preventive health care, offices, kitchenette, laundry, technical and other ancillary rooms.
In addition to "Eurozoks", the consortium consists of Podgorica-based companies "Hidrogis sistem", "Netcom" and "Geotin MNE".
The procedure of contracting professional supervision over the construction of the kindergarten is in progress, after which the conditions for the beginning of works will be met.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Government of Montenegro with the Council of Europe Development Bank, new kindergartens have been opened in Zagorič, Stari aerodrom and Tuzi in the past three years.
