Annex to the Protocol from the fifth session of the Joint Commission for Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Montenegro and the Republic of Slovenia signed

The managers of projects approved under the call for applications for co-financing scientific and technological cooperation between Montenegro and the Republic of Slovenia for the period of 2018-2020 should note that the two parties have signed an Annex to the Protocol, agreeing on the following:

1. Due to the current health situation in the world caused by the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic, both parties have agreed that the implementation of planned researcher visits under approved bilateral projects based on the aforementioned Protocol and Annex 2 thereto (project duration from 1 August 2018 to 31 July 2020) is extended by one year, until 31 July 2021. Researcher visits may take place within the limits of the already approved financial amounts.

2. Pursuant to item 5 of the Protocol from the fifth session of the Joint Commission for Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Montenegro and the Republic of Slovenia, signed on 6 July 2018, the parties have announced a call for bilateral projects for the period of 2020-2022, with 1 July 2020 as the planned starting date for implementation of bilateral projects. Given the already mentioned health situation related to the control of the spread of the infectious disease SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), the parties have agreed to envisage the implementation of bilateral projects as of 1 January 2021.
