Government holds meeting with Marko Carević at his request on legalisation of illegal facilities in Krimovica

This morning, before the session at which Marko Carević was relieved of his duties as President of the Municipality of Budva, a meeting was held in the Government of Montenegro at the request of Mr Carević, as a natural person, on the legalisation of illegally constructed facilities in Krimovica, the Municipality of Kotor.

The meeting, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Financial System Milutin Simović on behalf of the Government, was attended on behalf of the Ministry of Finance by Minister Darko Radunović, State Secretary Nemanja Katnić, Director General Milanka Otović, Protector of Property and Legal Interests Dragana Đuranović and Deputy of the Protector of Property and Legal Interests Milan Krsmanović, and on behalf of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism by State Secretary Dragana Čenić.

At the meeting, the necessary preconditions and possibilities in accordance with the law for the continuation of the procedure of legalisation and valorisation of this area were explained to Mr Carević.
