Government responds to IA, CCE, CIN and Media Centre: Instead of calling on EU, call on rioters who caused violence and chaos in Budva
Published on: Jun 18, 2020 • 1:06 AM Author: PR Service
No one may influence the State Prosecutor's Office in exercising its function, nor has the right to call on the police and institutions not to do their job.
Where were you – when firefighters and utility services provided a favourable environment for the political minority in Budva; when these services, though it does not fall within their competence, dictated the conditions for the work of the local assembly organised under the tent; when councillors of DPS, Montenegrin party and independent councillors were brutally attacked; when someone's families, godparents and friends attacked the councillors and threatened them.
How you were not bothered by the obvious vulgarization of democracy and the abolition of order and legality!
And how else to understand your urgent response – except as heating up the atmosphere of rowdyism and chaos, and an attempt of media pressure on the judiciary.
Finally, do not threaten us with Europe, but provide the minimum of objectivity that you lack in political classification.
