In the period from November 2018 to February 2020, the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs, in cooperation with the Directorate for Financing and Contracting of EU Aid (Ministry of Finance), the Transport Administration and the Police Administration, successfully implemented the "Road Safety Assessment" project. The project involved the analysis of 1,853 km of highways and regional roads in Montenegro, using the iRAP (International Road Safety Assessment Program) methodology.

The total value of the project is 470,000 Euros, of which the support of the European Union is reflected in the co-financing of 85% of the project value, while 15% is national co-financing. The project was implemented within the IPA 2014 program, within which, in addition to these activities, the development of a digital database of Montenegrin roads was successfully completed, as well as the procurement and installation of a centralized system for measuring, collecting and storing traffic flow data on the Montenegrin road network.

In this regard, here you can download the Montenegrin and English versions of the summary report of the main information and results of the project "Road Safety Assessment".
