The Ministry of Public Administration will mark the International Public Administration Day on Wednesday, 1 July. Minister of Public Administration Suzana Pribilović and UNDP Resident Representative for Montenegro Daniela Gašparikova, will speak in the introductory part. The event will be held in Villa "Gorica," starting at 9:30 a.m.

Awards will be given to the best officials in the ministries and the Ministry of Public Administration, at the event.

In June 2003, the United Nations Assembly proclaimed June 23 as the International Public Administration Day. The celebration of the Public Administration Day aims to highlight the importance and contribution of public administration in the development of society and the community, at the local, national and global level. The goal is to promote the principles and values on which the work of public administration rests, to affirm the role and contribution of public officials in creating effective and responsible public administrations, as well as to encourage young people to develop their careers in the public sector.

The event will be realized with the support of the project "Efficient internal and external communication of the Public Administration Reform Strategy," which is financed by the European Union. The beneficiary of the project is the Ministry of Public Administration, and the project is implemented by a consortium, led by KPMG.

Journalists and cameramen who have annual accreditation, issued by the Government of Montenegro for 2020, can enter Villa "Gorica," by using the accreditation card along with an ID document. Journalists and cameramen who have no annual accreditation, must seek the Ministry of Public Administration to issue a daily accreditation in a timely manner, by sending a letter via e-mail to: lejla.kasic@mju.gov.me.
