European Social Survey Round 9 data published, including data for Montenegro
The European Social Survey (ESS) Round 9 data have been published, with data for 27 countries in total: Montenegro, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden, along with previously published data for Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland and Great Britain.
The data contain answers to over 150 questions on media use, institutional and social trust, democracy, politics, identity, health, discrimination, migration, religion, values, attitudes about justice and fairness and provide a major source of data for scientific, practical and student research based on a comparative method.
Montenegro became part of the largest European survey in the field of social sciences at the initiative of the Ministry of Science and participated in this important survey for the first time in this – Round 9 of the European Social Survey. The project was implemented by the team of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Montenegro, composed of Prof. Olivera Komar, Nemanja Batrićević, Nemanja Stankov and Jelena Šukić. Our country was also accepted in ESS Round 10 as a guest country, and the specific goal of this round will be digital social contacts in work and family life.
The European Social Survey ESS ERIC is methodologically and theoretically the most comprehensive international comparative survey in the field of social sciences conducted under the auspices of the European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC).
