Researchers at the University of Montenegro get access to the largest citation database

As of 2020, the University of Montenegro (UCG) has subscribed to the world’s largest science citation database and service provided by Clarivate Analytics – Web of Science.

The platform provides access to index databases that include renowned world’s scientific literature from almost all scientific fields. Namely, the service enables access to abstracts and articles published in prominent scientific journals and scientific monographs, with other scientific materials available as well, which are searchable by author, title, topic, keyword, abstract, etc.

Consequently, researchers at the University of Montenegro have been given the opportunity to use the services and search and analytical tools within the Web of Science databases, which can be most helpful in selecting scientific literature, reviewing attractive research areas and articles, systematisation and categorisation of globally renowned scientific publications.

To this end, the University of Montenegro has earmarked EUR 70,000 from its own budget, providing the researchers at the University with the opportunity to access the database over a period of three years.
