27 applications submitted under the Call for Applications for Doctoral Research

The deadline for applications was 10 July 2020. Until then, a total of 27 applications were submitted, 14 from the University of Montenegro and 13 from the University of Donja Gorica, of which:

- 12 in social sciences;
- 7 in humanities;
- 2 in ICT;
- 2 in agricultural sciences;
- 1 in natural sciences; and
- 3 in engineering sciences.

The scholarships are awarded for a period of up to three years, and include free tuition, monthly remuneration for doctoral students in the net amount of EUR 700.00 and research costs in the gross amount of up to EUR 10,000 per year.

The idea behind the scholarship scheme is to retain talents in Montenegro, as well as to strengthen human resources in research, innovation and competitiveness and to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the academic and the business sector.
