A project of the Institute of Public Health among the 22 projects approved under CEI COVID-19 Extraordinary Call for Proposals

The Central European Initiative has completed the process of evaluation of projects submitted under the COVID-19 Extraordinary Call for Proposals. Out of the total of 7,000 project applications submitted from all the member states of the Initiative, 22 project ideas have been selected for funding, including a project idea submitted by a scientific research institution from Montenegro – Institute of Public Health, with the project titled “National Telemedicine Platform”. On behalf of the Institute, the project will be managed by Dr. Senad Begić.

The aim of this CEI Call for Proposals was to quickly address the specific needs of communities within the CEI member states in the fields of medicine, education and support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The selected projects will contribute to the areas of telemedicine, as well as to improvement of the health system, strengthening of operability of distance learning and digitalisation of micro and small enterprises in the region.
