On behalf of the Government and in his own name, Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated all citizens of the Islamic faith in Montenegro, and in our diaspora on Eid al-Adha.
"I would like to welcome the decision of the Islamic Community and the believers, to refrain from the traditional gathering in religious buildings on the days of this great holiday. Care for others is exactly expressed through the gesture of respecting the recommendations of the state and health authorities, as one of the strongest values of any religion. Also, I will take this opportunity to thank the vast diaspora who, due to the current health situation, for the first time do not have the opportunity to spend the holidays in Montenegro, for their understanding and support in previous months," reads the Prime Minister's congratulatory letter to Reis of the Islamic Community in Montenegro Rifat Fejzić.
The Prime Minister expressed the wish that Eid al – Adha should bring good health, happiness and prosperity to the homes of all believers, and that Montenegro should continue its path in a spirit of mutual trust and friendship, harmony and solidarity.
