Prime Minister Duško Marković said in Ulcinj that development and capital investments must not stop because that is the best response to the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
"Development and capital investments must be in our focus. They may not have earlier dynamics at the time of the pandemic, but construction sites must not be closed. Development is the best response to our crisis," said the Prime Minister at a meeting with the management of the municipality of Ulcinj.
The Prime Minister said that no one in the world knows how long the problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic will last and that this is one of the biggest economic crises ever. "We have not given up, we are trying to preserve not only the economic substance but also the standard and living and working conditions. We do not stop any investment and we are constantly thinking about further development" – said PM Marković.
President of the Municipality of Ulcinj Loro Nrekić thanked the Prime Minister for the Government's assistance to that municipality, saying that he always received a positive response and assistance from the Minister of Finance.
"Ulcinj is a national resource, and it has maintained such a development status, among other things, thanks to the support of the Government and Prime Minister Marković personally," said Nrekić.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Finance Darko Radunović, President of the Municipal Assembly Ilir Çapuni and Vice President of the Municipality Hadixha Gjoni.
