"The Government is continuously making efforts to improve the living and working conditions in Petnjica. Numerous projects in the areas of road and energy infrastructure and water supply have been implemented. There is an evident momentum in the field of agriculture, especially among young people. All this is encouraging and indicates that Petnjica is moving forward responsibly and dedicatedly. We still have a lot of work to do together," said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simović at the meeting with President of the Municipality of Petnjica Samir Agović and his associates.

DPM Simović met with farmers in Petnjica to discuss the current challenges facing producers: infrastructure, product placement and support programmes.

Last year, 10 km of asphalt rural roads were built in Petnjica, and this year the construction of 18 km is in progress. Through the projects of the Ministry of Agriculture in the last two years, about 6 km of asphalt roads have been built in Petnjica.
