Minister Bogdanović in Ulcinj: Activities on reconstruction of former cinema hall begin, investement worth EUR 1.3 million

Minister of Culture Aleksandar Bogdanović paid a working visit to Ulcinj, where he talked with President of the Municipality Loro Nrekić about current projects, but also about the activities that need to be undertaken in order to improve the cultural offer of this city and create better conditions for artists in Ulcinj.
On that occasion, a contract was signed on the reconstruction of the former cinema hall. The document on the implementation of this capital project was signed today by Minister Bogdanović and President of the Municipality of Ulcinj Loro Nrekić.
"I am glad that with this agreement, we have made official the beginning of activities on the reconstruction of the former cinema, which will have the function of a cinema and a multimedia centre in the future. These works are worth EUR 1.3 million, and through the implementation of this project, with the support of the Government of Montenegro, the creators and citizens of Ulcinj will soon get one of the most representative facilities in the country," said Minister Bogdanović.
Furthermore, today's meeting with the municipal management discussed the activities of the Centre for Culture. Through cooperation with the UNDP, EUR 80,000 were invested in the equipping of the Centre for Culture.
