Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simović paid a working visit to Mojkovac, where he met with municipal managemet headed by President of the Municipality Ranko Mišnić. "We are working responsibly in Mojkovac. The municipal budget is being implemented according to the planned dynamics, even in the conditions of a pandemic," DPM Simović.

During today's working visit to Mojkovac, Simović and Mišnić visited the Agro Business Centre in that city.

"We stated that field work and constant communication with producers give results. We will make additional efforts to speed up administrative procedures," Simović said.

The representatives of the Government and the Municipality visited the locations where the project of arranging the riverbeds of Rudnica and Tara is being realised. "Rivers are our treasure that we must take care of responsibly and permanently. We have launched numerous projects for the preservation and regulation of rivers and riverbeds financed from non-refundable funds, the Global Environment Facility and the Special Climate Change Fund, which we are implementing with the World Bank," the Deputy Prime Minister reminded.

In Mojkovac, Simović visited the newly built poultry meat processing plant of Miroje Zejak in Podbišće, one of the many successful beneficiaries of the non-refundable investment support programme. This project, as Simović said, also confirms that generous non-refundable support programmes represent a great development opportunity for both producers and entrepreneurs. "Today we have thousands of successful users throughout Montenegro in all sectors," Simović said.

Simović also visited the Ćorić family farm in Žari, which is a beneficiary of support through a programme implemented by the Ministry in cooperation with the International Fund for Agricultural Development – IFAD, as well as the Prošćenje water supply system built within the same project.
