Purchase of lambs on more favourable terms

The Government of Montenegro will support the purchase of lambs this year as well, as a continuation of care for the needs of pensioners and farmers, with special sensibility in this challenging year.

At today's session, the Cabinet adopted the Information on the purchase of lambs for 2020.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, the Federation of Pensioners Associations, and the Investment and Development Fund, with the participation of economic entities, will organise the purchase of surplus lambs. 

The purchase of lambs this year is of special importance and significance for agricultural producers, when, due to the COVID19 pandemic, access to consumers and placement of agricultural products is difficult.
