The payment of old-age allowance in agriculture begins today. Old-age allowance in agriculture is increased by 13.16%, from 64.41 to 72.89 euros in line with the latest amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, which increased the amount of the minimum pension.

The Law on Agriculture and Rural Development sets the amount of old-age allowance at 50% of the lowest pension.

This increase is applied retroactively from 1 January 2020, so the difference for the previous seven months in addition to the August allowance will be paid to users.

3,314 beneficiaries of old-age allowance will receive an August check in the amount of EUR 132.25.

We remind you that within the Special Government Programme for Support of Agriculture, the beneficiaries of old-age allowance were paid an additional allowance in addition to the April one.
