National Coordination Body: Measures are mitigated on entry into Montenegro from countries of region and for our citizens who briefly travel to countries of region

Podgorica, Montenegro (3 September 2020) -- The National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases decided tonight, at the suggestion of the Public Health Institute of Montenegro, to mitigate the conditions on entry to Montenegro for residents of the region countries and our citizens who briefly travel to one of the neighbouring countries, in accordance with the epidemiological situation in the surrounding countries.
From countries in the region with negative PCR, negative IgM test or positive IgG test
As before, it is possible to enter Montenegro without additional conditions for residents of countries on the "green list," while residents of countries on the "yellow list" may enter Montenegro with a positive antibody serologic test result of the IgG class, which was issued from a registered laboratory and WHICH is not older than 30 days.
Residents of all countries from the "yellow list" can also enter Montenegro with a negative antibody serologic test result of the IgG class or with a negative result of the PCR test for the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), which are issued by a registered laboratory and are not older of 72 hours. The condition is that the person did not stay in one of the countries from the "red list" in the period of 15 days before entering Montenegro, i.e. in one of the countries from which entry into Montenegro is not allowed.
Facilities for Montenegrin residents who travel briefly to countries in the region
The entry of Montenegrin residents - citizens of Montenegro and foreigners permanently or temporarily residing in our country - from the countries of the region is facilitated in the event that they have stayed in those countries for up to 48 hours.
Upon their return to Montenegro, these persons are prescribed a health supervision measure, which includes free movement, but daily monitoring of symptoms and reporting to the competent doctor until the expiration of the Decision, issued by the Sanitary Inspection upon return.
It is also possible for Montenegrin residents to travel to countries from the "red list" of the Public Health Institute, with the provision that these persons are prescribed a quarantine or self-isolation measure upon their return.
New measures will enter into force on the day of their publication in the Official Gazette of Montenegro, which is expected tonight.
