The Ministry of Education has prepared detailed information for schools on the organisation of lessons from 1 October, which is based on clear recommendations of the Public Health Institute, the complex epidemiological situation and the need to protect children, but also to provide them with education. The pupils in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th grade of primary school and the 1st grade of secondary school will attend school, while the rest of pupils will follow lessons online, with consultations in schools every fifteen days. All tests and written assignments for all pupils will be organised in schools, in compliance with the measures. Furthermore, school-based or employer-based practical training will be organised for all pupils of vocational schools, in compliance with the measures. The duration of lessons for primary school pupils is 30 minutes, maximum 4 lessons, and for secondary school pupils, 30 minutes, maximum 6 lessons.

Regardless of the fact that some pupils will go back to school, the Ministry of Education recorded videos for all grades of primary and secondary school, which will be broadcast on TVCG2 and MNE Sport from 1 October. TV Teuta and TV Boin will broadcast lessons in Albanian language. The broadcast schedule will be posted on the website www.ucidoma.me, the teachers’ portal www.skolskiportal.edu.me, the YouTube channel Uči doma, and the website of the Ministry of Education, social networks and TV channels.

Teachers have an obligation to regularly monitor the progress of their pupils through homework, essays, presentations, project tasks and other activities. To communicate with pupils, they can use the Microsoft 365 software package, which is available to all schools and which offers the possibility of sharing materials, preparing quizzes, video or audio calls, etc.

Having in mind the fact that there are pupils who are unable to study via the aforementioned methods of communication, schools must provide an alternative by submitting all the material, also strictly adhering to the prescribed measures.

There should not be more than 15 pupils in a classroom at a time; only one pupil may sit at one school desk; and it is necessary to maintain a physical distance of at least 2 meters.

Staff and pupils are obliged to wear face masks, and it is recommended that they have at least two more masks in reserve.
