PM Marković congratulates Jewish Community on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur: Together, with trust and mutual help, can we overcome challenges ahead of us

Podgorica, Montenegro (19 September 2020) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated, on behalf of the Government and in his own name, the President and all members of the Jewish Community in Montenegro on the upcoming holidays Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
"I wish the gentle forthcoming days will bring peace in homes of believers and strengthen faith that together with trust and mutual help, can we overcome many challenges ahead of us. And first of all to save our health and health of others in a period of coronavirus pandemic," reads the congratulatory letter of Prime Minister Duško Marković sent to President of the Jewish Community in Montenegro Nina Ofner Bokan.
The Prime Minister thanked the Jewish Community for contribution in strengthening an independent, multicultural and multinational Montenegro, which precisely on these values – is a reliable partner of the Euro – Atlantic community and a future member of the European Union.
"In a conviction that together we will further contribute to the human and advanced striving, I congratulate you on the election for the President of the Jewish Community of Montenegro and I once again wish all the believers happy upcoming holidays," the congratulatory letter of Prime Minister Duško Marković to President of the Jewish Community Nina Ofner Bokan reads.
