School year begins according to previously announced model - Strict adherence to measures is necessary

The new school year will begin according to the previously announces model, primarily due to the need for our pupils to make contact with the school environment after a long time, although the current epidemiological situation is more than complex. This means that if all those who are directly or indirectly related to the education system do not strictly adhere to the measures, there is a real possibility to change the teaching model: partial or complete suspension of lessons and transition to an online system.
This means that the school year will begin as stated by the Ministry of Education: pupils in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade of primary school and the 1st grade of secondary school will attend lessons, while the other will be studying online and having school consultations every fifteen days. All kindergartens are set to reopen.
Institutions will be equipped with disinfectants and other means, with full adherence to other measures of the Public Health Institute. Lessons in elementary schools will last 30 minutes (four lessons maximum), while lessons in secondary schools will last 30 minutes (6 lessons maximum).
Regardless of the fact that some students will attend school, the Ministry of Education has provided recorded material for the majority of subjects of all grades of primary and secondary school, which will be broadcast on TVCG2 and MNE sport 2 and MNE sport 3, starting from 1 October. TV material has also been provided for students attending lessons in Albanian, while details and a complete scheme will be available in a timely manner.
All additional information will be provided tomorrow by the Ministry of Education and the Public Health Institute.
