In the current epidemiological situation in Montenegro, timely diagnosis of patients with COVID-19 is a key factor in the timely detection of contacts and prevention of local transmission. According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization, PCR diagnostics, in addition to other diagnostic procedures, remains the "gold standard" for detecting the presence of coronavirus.
