National Coordination Body: Epidemiological measures deliver results, it is also result of citizens who more responsibly adhered to them

The second wave of the coronavirus pandemic has been registering infamous records around the world for days. The situation is very complex, throughout the Europe.
Many countries have taken the most restrictive measures because health systems are on the verge of collapse.
Alerts come from the highest institutions. In an interview with the CNN, Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) for Europe Hans Kluge, warned of the WHO projections that prolonged relaxing policies could increase – by January 2021 – daily mortality at levels 4 – 5 times higher than what we recorded in April.
"The same models show that simple measures such as more consistent use of masks together with tight control of gatherings in public and private premises can save up to hundreds of thousands of lives," said Kluge.
Director Kluge reiterated his position that "the pandemic will not reverse its course, but we will."
Our healthcare system has given excellent responses in all segments: monitoring, analysis, organisation, commitment and dedication in work, thus deserving great respect of the whole society.
At this moment, the occupancy of our health facilities is about 30 %. This shows us that epidemiological measures undertaken in recent weeks delivered results. The growth in the number of infected people in Nikšić and Berane, who were the most endangered has been reduced several times.
In addition to the health system and other institutions included in fight with the virus, certainly is the result of citizens who more responsibly adhered to the prescribed measures.
Therefore, we call on citizens to contribute to the suppression of the pandemic by respecting the measures and thus prevent aggravation of measures that affect both the citizens and the economy.
