Press release of National Coordination Body

On the occasion of the death of Metropolitan Amfilohije, we send our condolences to the clergy, monks and believers of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral.

Respecting traditions and customs, but also the ubiquitous danger of coronavirus, we urge citizens to adhere to epidemiological measures in order to protect their health and the health and lives of their loved ones.

All mass gatherings in the previous period have shown risks and dangers, and the consequences are felt by the whole society.

The National Coordination Body supports the appeal of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral to respect epidemiological measures and calls on the clergy to take all measures to minimize the risk of spreading coronavirus.

It is a common responsibility and obligation of all of us to contribute to the preservation of the health and lives of citizens.
