Government continues to support construction of rural infrastructure in Šavnik

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in cooperation with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), continued to invest significant funds in improving rural infrastructure in the municipality of Šavnik.

Asphalting of 7.70 km in local community Duži is ongoing, worth about EUR 360 thousand.

Including the past two years, in addition to 10.40 km of rural roads worth over EUR 600 thousand, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development through this project only, in cooperation with the municipality of Šavnik, has invested in two investments for water supply in local community Bijela, worth almost EUR 200 thousand, which makes a total investment of over EUR 800 thousand in the development of rural infrastructure in the past period in the municipality of Šavnik.

These infrastructure projects, with generous measures of non-refundable support from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to hard-working farmers and entrepreneurs, will contribute to the further development of agriculture and the improvement of the quality of life in Šavnik.
