“It’s an old and ended story, and nobody here in Montenegro or abroad, pays attention on it”, said The Prime Minister’s Chief Political Advisor Milan Rocen, apropos the latest news that Prosecutor of Napoli allegedly put forward the demand for arresting of Milo Djukanovic.
According to the information of ANSA news agency, this demand cannot go in procedure, because Mr. Djukanovic is protected by immunity according to the International Law.
“There is nothing new about this story. The scenario for creating such speculations has changed a little bit, because now we have Napoli instead of Bari. Probably, they expected the great attention of the public, similar to a volcano eruption”, said Rocen.
“The USA, Swicerland, Slovenia, Cyprus and Montenegro are mentioned, and suddenly trade of cigarettes is regular business everywhere else, but in Montenegro it’s illegal, and of course Mr. Djukanovic is guilty. That is really too obvious. If only the main "strategy makers" had had any proof against Djukanovic, they would have offered it a long time ago”, Rocen added.
“Otherwise, if Italian Prosecution has some motive to prosecute Djukanovic, they know his address and the right procedure for doing it”, said Rocen.
He denied any correlation between this kind of information and the day when Italy will take over the European Union presidency.
“I believe that Italian Government has nothing to do with these speculations. I hope that this period will mean the new approach for European integrations, for Montenegro and for the whole region", Rocen concluded.
