Announcement: Montenegrin Secretary for Development Dusan Simonovic met with delegation of Montenegrin Employers Union

Secretary for Development Dusan Simonovic and his associates met today in Podgorica with a delegation of the Montenegrin Employers Union, comprised of President Ivan Mitrovic, Vice President Predrag Mitrovic and Secretary General Budimir Raickovic.
The Employers Union representatives presented their ambitions, programme guidelines, experiences, achievements and planned activities.
Mr Simonovic commended the Unions activities and results with regard to social dialogue, creation of favourable socio-economic environment, as well as the accomplishments in the field of international integration of the Union and its admission to related international organisations and cooperation with business partners. Those activities were found to be of extreme importance for the promotion of business environment and development of civil society and democracy in Montenegro.
The two parties agreed about the necessity of intensifying the cooperation between the Republic Secretariat for Development and the Montenegrin Employers Union. In that respect, full support was given to the Unions initiative to take active part in the process of analysing and creating economic policy. Accordingly, the Secretariat promised to provide full professional and technical assistance to the Union.
