Press release: Montenegrin government representatives attended Regional Ministerial Conference in Sarajevo

Regional ministerial conference on refugees and displaced persons ended today in Sarajevo following the signing of the Declaration on regional solutions for refugees and displaced persons problems. The Declaration defines basic principles and goals for the preparation of individual Road Maps for the return of refugees. Montenegrin representatives have made substantial contribution in the preparation of the Declaration from the aspect of Montenegros own interests.
The conference was sponsored by Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers. It was attended by representatives of relevant ministries of Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and representatives of international organizations UNHCR, OSCE and European Union. The Montenegrin delegation attending the event in Sarajevo comprised Head of the Government Commission for Displaced Persons Zeljko Sofranac, Assistant Foreign Minister Dragan Sekulovic and Assistant Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Snezana Mijuskovic.
