Announcement: International Conference on the Fight against Corruption

International conference on implementation and incorporation of the UN Convention against Corruption into Montenegrin legislation begins in Podgorica on February 15.
The organisation of the conference follows the recent ratification of the UN Convention against Corruption by the Parliament of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro.
This two-day conference is organised by the Directorate for Anti-Corruption Initiative of the Republic of Montenegro, OSCE Mission to Serbia and Montenegro, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Stability Pact Anti-Corruption Initiative/Regional Secretariat Liaison Office (SPAI RLSO).
Participants will have the opportunity to share experience regarding the implementation of international anticorruption standards, to assess the compatibility of Montenegrin legislative framework with UN Convention against Corruption, as well as to review the existing institutional capacities for suppressing corruption. UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) will also present its Global Program against Corruption.
Media representatives are invited to attend the conference which begins on February 15, at 09: 30 at the Faculty of Economics, hall Mediteran.
