Zabljak: Scientific and expert conference entitled Information Technologies

Image 1: Zabljak: Scientific and expert conference entitled Information TechnologiesThe scientific and expert conference entitled Information Technologies is under way in Zabljak from 29th February to 6th March 2003. On 1st and 2nd March, the emphasis was placed on information and communication technologies in the healthcare industry.

Since Crete is a world pilot project as far as this field is concerned, Greek experiences in information technology are invaluable to our experts. Accordingly, professor Vasilis Mustakis gave a presentation of the Cretan healthcare system supported by ICT.

Experts of the Montenegrin Healthcare Ministry presented for the first time the Montenegrin Healthcare Information System Development Strategy, within the project entitled: The Information Society Development Strategy Road to a Well-Informed Society. The document is put up for debate, and all health institutions and other stakeholders are welcome to give their own contribution to adequate finalization of this document.
