Vienna Minister of Finance Igor Lukšić had participated in 13th Euromoney Conference for Central and Eastern Europe

The Minister of Finance dr Igor Luksic spoke today on the Ministers panel of the Central-Eastern European Forum, organized in Vienna by the Euromoney. Minister Luksic had presented economic indicators, perspectives and challenges awaiting for Montenegro in the following period. As the prerequisite for the future dynamic economic development, he had noted the necessity to continue structural reforms and to create more effective labor market through adoption and implementation of solutions from the new Labor Law, as well as the need for restructuring and privatization of the remaining state owned companies. Besides that, he had also stressed the significance of future enhancement of business environment, mostly through further reducing of business barriers, as well as the implementation of planned infrastructure investments. The Ministers panel was dedicated to the issues regarding the global financial turbulences, which was the opportunity to exchange the opinions and experiences on influence of these transitions on the Central and Eastern Europe market, in the light of global trend of energy and agricultural products price increase
