- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Igor Luksic, PhD, met with the representatives of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX)

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Igor Luksic, PhD, met with the representatives of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), led by the Head of the Mission Mr. Iv de Karmabon. Mr. Karambon introduced the Deputy prime minister with the objectives and activities of the EULEX Mission, which apart from monitoring is providing technical and professional support in development and improvement of institutions in Kosovo. He also emphasized that the importance if strengthening regional and cross border cooperation with the neighboring countries, which is one of the priorities of the European Union. The Deputy prime minister, Mr. Luksic introduced the EULEX representatives with the progress that Montenegro achieved in the legislation area, tax and customs system and emphasized the importance on continuation of reforms. He also emphasized that the establishment of the regional cooperation exchange and information flow, elimination of the barriers in the exchange of goods and services represent the key element in the customs area.
