The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance, Igor Lukšić, PhD, met with newly appointed and extraordinary and authorized Ambassador of Ukraine in Montenegro, Ms. Oksana Slysarenko. Ms. Slysarenko informed the Deputy Prime Minister Luksic on interests of the Ukrainian commercial banks for Montenegrin financial system, cooperation options on the World Bank Project and the promotion of Montenegrin economy in Ukraine, and exchange of students in the area of economy and finance. The Deputy Prime Minister Luksic briefed the Ambassador about the current activities of the Government, recapitalization of the Electric Power Industry (EPCG) and measures aimed at mitigating the consequences of the world economic crises and improving the liquidity of the banking sector, etc.
