Signed Protocol on development cooperation between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and Montenegro

On the basis of the Protocol, will be provided ten million Euros for the projects and programmes of bilateral and technical cooperation. The Protocol provides for the use of new credit lines of the KfW and few donors projects. The development loan is intended for the energy through investments in renewable energy sources. Out from 80 million Euros five will be provided through the German budget, and 75 million through the KfW loan. In the area of the water supply is planned the engagement of additional million Euros which will be used for different studies to be used as the basis for future arrangements for resolving the problem of waste waters not only in the costal area. In the area of technical cooperation, through GTZ it will be engaged four million Euros. It is planned to use aforementioned money in the next eight years. This is the support to Montenegro to fulfill the standards on its road to integration and the confirmation of good relationship between Montenegro and Germany.
