The Republic of Montenegro (hereinafter referred to as the Borrower) has received a loan from the European Investment Bank EIB (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) towards the cost of the Roads and Bridges Rehabilitation Project-A1. The EIB component of the project has a total cost of Euro 39 million and relates to the works for the rehabilitation and backlog maintenance of parts of the national road network of Montenegro. The project is divided into smaller sub-projects within five regional sections: Podgorica Section, Pljevlja Section, Kotor Section, Nikšić Section, Berane Section.
The following works and services will be required:
Road reconstruction
Rehabilitation of asphalt pavements
Rehabilitation / reconstruction of retaining walls
Bridge rehabilitation
Stabilization of unstable slopes
Tunnel rehabilitation
Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the loan from the Bank, will be ordered, purchased and secured by open national or international tender or other acceptable procurement procedure complying, to the Banks satisfaction, with its policy as described in its Guide to Procurement in force at the date of this publication. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
All firms are invited to participate in the tenders.
