Minister for Environmental Protection and Urban Planning Boro Vucinic met with Stability representatives

Minister for Environmental Protection and Urban Planning Boro Vucinic and his associates met today with Stability Pact representatives, Emiel A. Wegelinom and Alex Talmono-l Armee. The meeting was attended by a representative of the Foreign Ministry.

The guests acquainted Minister Vucinic with the Stability Pacts role in providing assistance to countries in transition with a view to resolving problems and promoting housing policy.

The two parties discussed the drafting of Montenegros Housing Policy Strategy. That strategic document, which is to be adopted by the Government of Montenegro, defines the relations in this field, in accordance with the standards and conditions in Montenegro. All relevant entities are to be included in the production of this document.

Minister Vucinic explained that the Ministry for Environmental Protection and Urban Planning was ready to participate in the production of this Strategy, observing that it was time to raise the housing issue, and produce the strategic document using the best practices of neighboring countries.
