Announcement of the Directorate for Public Works

International Limited Tender Opening procedure for construction and commissioning of
- High school of Medicine, Podgorica - Lot I
- Bureau for Educational Services, Examinations Center and Center for Vocational Education - Lot II
Took place at the premises of the Directorate for Public Works on Monday, April 03 2006.

We would like to reiterate that according to the Agreement signed between the Government of the Republic of Hungary and the Government of the Republic of Montenegro, this international limited tender for construction of the above stated buildings was opened to the companies with the head offices registered in the Republic of Hungary.

By the tender submission deadline out of seven received five tenders were submitted by the companies from Hungary, these being:

1. BAUSTAR KFT Budapest
2. ARCADOM ZRT Budapest
3. GESZTELYI Rt. Budapest
4. KESZ Kft. Budapest
5. HARCON ZRT Budapest

Results of the preliminary analysis of the received tenders show that the interested companies from Hungary during preparation of the tender documents have engaged numerous building companies from Montenegro for future subcontractors through agreements on technical cooperation.

In the next few days pursuant to the effective regulations will follow the tender evaluation procedure. Consequently, the successful tenderers will be awarded with the Contract Agreement followed with the start of the project realization.
