Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Mr. Igor Lukšić, PhD., met with newly appointed extraordinary ambassador of Great Britain, Ms. Catherine Knight Sands

The Deputy Prime Minister Lukšić informed the Ambassador about fiscal measures undertaken by the Government of Montenegro with the objective of overcoming the consequences of the crisis. At the same time, when discussing the economic crises, the Deputy Prime Minister said that the Government in the period of the crises continued with all planned activities - privatization process, implementation of initiated investments and infrastructure – related projects, as well as that the privatization of remaining public companies will be continued. Moreover, the Ambassador was introduced with the measures aimed at decreasing public consumption, as well as with the planned reforms in the local self – government area.
