Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister , Mr. Igor Lukšić, PhD ., held internal meeting with the representatives of institutions under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance

The meeting was supported by the UNDP Programme "Strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Finance”, and it was the opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences aimed at defining the medium – term and short – term objectives in the work of these institutions. Moreover, the meeting was the opportunity to define the future cooperation model in order to improve information exchange ant to identify. In his opening speech, the Deputy Prime Minister Lukšić said that without creating conditions and providing the chance to business economic growth, increase collection of taxes, reduction in non – observed economy, exploitation of potential opportunities, and valuation of existing resources will fail. The Deputy Prime Minister Lukšić emphasized that at the time of economic crisis and weakened liquidity it is necessary to save the existing potential. "The state is the service to its citizens and not the superior – structure having its own interests being separated from the interests of its citizens" - said the Deputy Prime Minister Lukšić. He emphasized that the business environment improvement is the most important activity of the Government of Montenegro in the forthcoming period, which is impossible without the full coordination of all relevant factors, cooperation of ministries and administrations supervised by the Ministry.
