Ninth Session of the Council for Regulatory Reforms and Business Environment Improvement

At the Ninth meeting of the Council for Regulatory Reforms and Business Environment Improvement was discussed the implementation of assumed commitments defined in the Action Plan for Doing Business of the World Bank with the objective of improving business environment in Montenegro. The Council discussed the initiative for amending certain regulations, recommendations for the unique process of establishing the conditions for carrying out activities aimed at improving the registration process, as well as the Proposal of the Decree on abolishing certain laws in order to improve business conditions. The Information of Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) of the Transparency International was reviewed as well as the methodology which is based on this index measuring the level of perception of corruption in the public sector in 180 countries, data sources, current situation, as well as recommendations for improving the situation in this area in Montenegro
