Official visit of the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Mr. Igor Lukšić, PhD to the People’s Republic of China

The Delegation of the Republic of Montenegro, led by the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Mr. Igor Lukšić, PhD., and Maritime Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications Minister, Mr. Andrija Lompar, PhD., were on the working cisit to the PR China that from 6th March was in the working visit to the PR China, held several meetings with the representatives of line ministries of the General Council (Government) and representatives of numerous companies. During the meeting in the Ministry of Railways and the Ministry of Transport, were discussed the options of continuing the current and plans for the cooperation between the two line Ministries of the two Governments. During the talks in the Export Import Bank of China, it was concluded that the loan approved to Crnogorska Plovidba AD Kotor for the purchase of two ships for bulk loads, represents just the initial step in the establishment of intensive cooperation. The readiness for the provision of other types of loans at favorable conditions of the Exlm Bank was expressed for projects planned in cooperation between the two countries. The Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Mr. Igor Lukšić, PhD., and Maritime Affairs, Transport and Telecommunications Minister, Mr. Andrija Lompar, PhD., met with representatives of Poly Technologies Inc., the company with whom the purchase of two ships was agreed.
