Statement of the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Mr. Igor Lukšić, on the occasion of the working visit to the Municipality of Bijelo Polje

“In addition to the construction of the road Žabljak – Risan, the construction of the bypass is currently the most important road infrastructure improvement project, being implemented in Montenegro. The finalization of the bypass road by the end of the year, does not mean the end of investments in Bijelo Polje. When considering the Government’s support, we are planning to open a home care center, to commence the reconstruction of the Health Center, as well as to complete the construction of the new school “Dušan Korać". The documents representing the basis for the further reconstruction of the water – supply system for the waste water treatment will be developed soon. The Municipality of Bijelo Polje with several other municipalities will assist in resolving the solid waste problem. The support to the development of this town, being one of the most important centers in this part of the state, will not halt. On the contrary, by supporting these projects we will contribute to the balanced development of Montenegro.
