The Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Mr. Igor Lukšić, Phd., visited Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Mr. Igor Lukšić, PhD., visited Bosnia and Herzegovina, and met with the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Finance and Treasury Minister, Mr. Dragan Vrankić and the Internal Affairs Minister, Mr. Sredoje Nović. At the meeting with the Minister Vrankić, it was concluded that all regional counties, from the economic prospective, have the same destiny, requiring mutual coordination of both the policies and the infrastructure – related projects. It was emphasized that in the absence of investments in infrastructure – related projects, neither the progress of counties and country itself is possible, nor the regional growth. In the light of the above, it was estimated that the operations on third markets are providing for the greater chances for success and easier access to the European funds. The Deputy Minister Lukšić and Minister Vrankić have agreed that they will need to use their best endeavors in increasing mutual cooperation in different areas, especially in the cross – border cooperation area. The importance of aligning regulations, especially in suppressing the non – observed economy, as we;; as concluding regional agreements, with the emphasis that the regional initiatives should not represent just a mere letter on the paper, but they should be implemented..
