Prime Minister Dritan Abazović delivered a keynote speech at the 10th International Scientific Conference "Njegoš Days" in Budva, where he celebrated the enduring significance of Petar II Petrović Njegoš, a towering figure in Montenegrin history. Abazović highlighted Njegoš's cosmopolitan, timeless, and universal ideas, urging people to embrace goodness inspired by his profound philosophy.

Abazović acknowledged Njegoš as not only a renowned poet but also a philosopher. He stressed the importance of celebrating Njegoš in a cosmopolitan setting like Budva, underlining the universal nature of Njegoš's ideas, which transcend ideological boundaries.

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the conference's milestone - the 10th anniversary of "Njegoš Days" - and its significance being hosted in Budva. He praised the relentless efforts of educators like Professors Bečanović Đurišić and Glušica, who contribute to elevating Montenegro's cultural scene. Abazović emphasised the cultural ambitions of Budva, which aspires to become the European Capital of Culture, stating that this endeavor represents a significant national cultural project. He wished success to Budva in achieving this prestigious European recognition, signaling Montenegro's cultural prominence on the European stage.
