Abazović and Đurović pay a working visit to Kotor

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović and Minister of Economic Development and Tourism Goran Đurović paid a working visit to Kotor. The Prime Minister and the Minister talked with the management of the Port of Kotor and visited the cruiser Norwegian GEM, which sailed into the Port of Kotor for the first time today. Abazović and Đurović also met with President of the Municipality of Kotor Vladimir Jokić, with whom they discussed the implementation of several projects in Kotor.

President of the Board of Directors of the Port of Kotor Ljiljana Popović Moškov thanked the Prime Minister and the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism for visiting the Port of Kotor, adding that this was the first visit of the Prime Minister in the history of that institution. Popović Moškov expressed satisfaction with the tourist season so far, stating that the number of cruisers has already exceeded last year's number and that by the end of May, their total number will be around 100.

Vice President of the Municipality of Kotor Nebojša Ševaljević informed PM Abazović about the projects that the Municipality of Kotor plans to implement in the coming period, but also the results achieved, especially in the stabilisation of finances and consolidation of the municipal budget.

Prime Minister Abazović said he was surprised by the fact that he was the first Prime Minister of Montenegro to visit the Port of Kotor. The Prime Minister noted that the Government of Montenegro is proud of the work of the Port of Kotor and its contribution to the state during the tourist season.

The obligation of the state is to help its companies, and the Government will be at the service of the Port of Kotor for further improvement of cooperation, PM Abazović pointed out.

The Minister of Economic Development and Tourism emphasised that the Government will be cooperative for all future projects that the Port of Kotor will work on, especially for the expansion and construction of a modern marina, which this city deserves.

Together with Executive Director of the Port of Kotor Milko U. Krvavac, Prime Minister Abazović and Minister Đurović visited the cruiser Norwegian GEM.

After visiting the Port of Kotor, the Prime Minister Abazović and the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism spoke with President of the Municipality of Kotor Vladimir Jokić. The meeting exchanged opinions on the improvement of cooperation and communication between the Government and the Municipality of Kotor, but also on future development projects and potential investments.
