There is no progress without serious businesspeople and investments, but in order to achieve significant results, it is necessary to establish a stable political system in which the rule of law will function. Everyone must feel a dose of legal security in order to invest capital in our country, said Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović at the conference of the Foreign Investors Council on the White Book: Investment Climate in Montenegro 2021.

Abazović pointed out that foreign investors in Montenegro and the state should work together on improving the climate in order to attract new investors.

We need to open new markets. In order to do that, the state must adjust by creating conditions for introducing new flights, but also by negotiating with the EU on the possibility of introducing a more liberal visa regime for certain markets during the tourist season. I think that Montenegro is becoming a country of great opportunities and I am personally very optimistic about its future, said Abazović in his address.

Abazović emphasised that Montenegro should use its characteristics that make it a more attractive country than other countries, that it must show stability, but also improve the legal framework.

I am sure that a goodwill and cooperation between investors and the future Government can help us achieve good results in a short period of time, Abazović concluded.
