Prime Minister Dritan Abazović condemned the hate speech by the Aktuelno news portal against the ambassadors of the USA, the EU and the UK.

On behalf of the Government and in my own name, I strongly condemn the hate speech by the Aktuelno news portal against EU Ambassador to Montenegro Oana Cristina Popa, US Ambassador to Montenegro Judy Rising Reinke, and UK Ambassador to Montenegro Karen Maddocks.

Misogynistic attacks, insults and the spread of hate speech will not and cannot build a society of true values. Media and journalists, adhering to at least the minimum standards of professional ethics, must not spread such a phenomenon.

May today, 25 November - the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women be a reminder and warning that regardless of our differences, we are obliged to respect and preserve the integrity of others, and to raise our voices in the joint fight against gender-based and all other forms of violence, the Prime Minister stressed.
