Abazović meets Blinken: Montenegro demonstrates high level of credibility

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović was a guest at a working dinner hosted last night by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. The dinner brought together foreign ministers from transatlantic partner countries, with the presence of Jens Stoltenberg, NATO Secretary General, and Josep Borrell Fontelles, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

During the working dinner, three key topics were discussed, one of which related to the Western Balkans.

Montenegro, through its overall actions in complex geopolitical conditions, has demonstrated a high level of credibility, making it the country with the greatest prospects for further integration processes in the region. I briefed Secretary Blinken on our international positions regarding the situation in Ukraine, as well as our plans to enhance regional cooperation, Prime Minister Abazović emphasized on this occasion.
